Very good weekend as the 2nd Guards won the battle even though the enemy enjoyed 2:1 superiority in numbers!

FEBRUARY 28th & 1st March - Derby Re enactors Fare
An indoor event where the 2nd Guards Rifle Division we will have a display stand and uniformed members who are on hand for you to ask questions and see the uniforms and kit close up. So why don't you come along and see the 2nd Guards Rifle Division?

APRIL 12/13th - FORT NELSON - near Portsmouth.
Fort Nelson is a Historical Napoleonic Fort and this year we are stationed down the stockade tunnel where you can enjoy a guided tour around our living history encampment and battlements.

MAY 16/17th - KELVENDON HATCH - Essex
We will have Red Army trenches to man all weekend with areas for communication, eating and rest and of course front line duties. Come and see our living history trench and static display, and with many other activities the organisers have catered for the whole family.

JUNE 27/28th - BOVINGDON TANK MUSEUM - Dorset
The museum boasts many tanks from the 2nd World War (Known as the Great Patriotic War to the Russians!) See the famous T34 tank next to our living history display, the tank that changed the concept of armoured warfare with sloping armour which the Germans and future generations copied to this day.

JULY 25/26th - KELMARSH HALL - Leicestershire
An event that the 2nd Guards has supported English Heritage from the very beginning including the early days at Kirby Hall in the early part of the this century, This show is getting better every year including unit members taking part in the Western Front public battle as French resistance fighters!
Come and see our living history display and chat to friendly Red Army reenactors. A good quality reenactors event!

AUGUST 1/2nd - PEAK RAIL - Derbyshire
A relaxed event with our living history display and a public battle on top! Enjoy a trip on the period train and carriages before the battle!!

AUGUST 29/30 & 31st - MILITARY ODYSSEY - Detling, kent
The biggest show for the 2nd Guards Rifle Division which included a T34, Tiger Tank and artilley and not forgetting a Red Airforce YAK fighter in support of the glorious Red Army in last years public battle. See the best in action and if you want to be apart then you will have to be part of the 2nd Guards Rifle Division!
